I recently was on another forum and they were talking about this very topic. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask. To my knowledge, it is not possible for a person who is not an Autodesk customer to request a replacement dongle for their legacy Delcam software. It is not possible to clone a dongle in your possession. I’ve previously confirmed that a stockpile of dongles has been retained for such situations for example, here. The importance of insurance was referenced in the Addendum of Delcam's Software Licence and Terms of Supply. I expect that Autodesk Support would follow the same guidelines as previously followed by Delcam Support. Where a dongle was lost, Delcam would typically advise the customer to claim against their insurance. Where a dongle was stolen, Delcam would typically provide a replacement where a police report confirming this could be produced. While you have an active Autodesk maintenance plan, you have the option to request a replacement dongle if the one in your possession breaks or develops a fault. How, if needed, does a Dongle get replaced or can we copy it some how for backup purposes should the original one get wrote: With ArtCAM no longer being sold or supported, i was just wondering.
